This class consists of treble (female) voices who enjoy singing and performing music. Teacher assistance is provided to help students in singing comfortably and with confidence and enjoyment as they continue to develop their music abilities at the high school level. Basic voice preparation and development is evidenced in the presentation of a variety of appropriate choral styles. The choir sings at scheduled performances several times during the school year. Two after-school rehearsals and concerts are mandatory. Grading is based on in-class performance tests, participation, and attendance at combined rehearsals and concerts.
